What a start to a book - talk about a hook! The way in which Jeff’s saving of the drowning swimmer is described in such vivid detail, you can almost feel the sand between your toes and the cold on your face. I am so intrigued to learn more about Jeff and how he came to be the ‘thrift store Adonis’ we’re confronted with in the departures lounge. The anticipation is too much!
