a man bumps into a man that he knew at uni. their flight is delayed so they sit down while the man tells him a story. he saved a mans life on a beach. he was drowned but he bought him back to life. he then stalks him and gets a job at his art gallery and then gets into a relationship with his daughter. the man that he saved was a complete arse and got caught having an affair. they go on a skiing trip and the man dies. he marries his daughter and ends up running the business. a quick read but very boring. the storyline was bland. if you like arty books then this will probably be a good read to read in one sitting. i feel like i got nothing from this book and it will be easy to forget. such a shame as i read up on this before i started and thought i was in for a treat. the writing style is great though and you can tell the author is well read through this but its a shame the story line let him down
