Great story telling and revisiting
The story is from the point of view of an unnamed narrator who is telling the story of a story he was told at the airport, confused, well it is a little. The man of interest is Jeff who meets the narrator at the airport and tells his tale as they wait for a delayed flight. The story switches from the different perspectives of both characters and as they say goes, there are always 3 sides to very story, and it can be hard to decide the truth as it unfolds.
I actually liked the narrative and it does keep your toes as to where the story is and who is telling it. As with life, there are points where is drags a little, but this also makes it more of a realistic tale as people do tend to waffle as the story goes.
The flaws and tales spun did grip me and I really enjoyed unravelling Jeff's like and the story he never told, until meeting the narrator at the airport that day.
