A short book which certainly packs a punch …

Our unnamed narrator is awaiting a flight when he meets Jeff, a former classmate who he hasn’t seen in 20 years . Over drinks in the first class lounge Jeff shares his story of how he saved a man from drowning and then became obsessed with his life , both professionally and personally .
This is a slow burn of a book but the suspense that builds is what keeps you reading . As the reader you sort of have this feeling of dread of what is to come yet you don’t quite know what this will be , Jeff is hiding something but what??

I loved the sort chapters and the writing is very witty and clever , it’s the sort of book that keeps you thinking as soon as you put it down, I could see this working really well in the theatre as a two man play …

Definitely recommend this one if you want a short read that will leave you thinking …
And what a great cover !
