This is a hard book to review as I liked but also disliked the content of this book. The front cover doesn't fit the contents of the book.
The positive of this book is it was easy to read, I liked what the book was trying to convey especially at the end with the plot twist. I also liked how each of the characters in the book is flashed out and stuck to their personality so I would recommend it for that reason.
But on the other hand, the book felt like it had a glass between me and the story like some details was held back. I also thought that the main character jeff seems very shallow and it felt like a story about the progression of his god/ saviour complex and how he inserted himself into another life because he felt like he owed it to him because he saved his life.
Overall i did like the plot twist at the end and it felt like it broached many topics but never in enough details to make a difference.
