This read certainly proved unusual, a quirky tale to say the least! It certainly drew me in - the synopsis alone was compelling, which is something many books lack. This, together with the cover (which I will come onto in a moment), instantly got me to add the book to my TBR list!

Now, onto the cover. With bold graphics in contrasting colours, Mouth to Mouth's cover reminds me greatly of Magritte's artwork. It is beautifully elegant and striking.

While dark and twisting in nature, I loved the descriptive language used throughout. The only reason I can't give it five stars is due to it being outside the genre(s) I typically read. As a fan of high fantasy and new adult romance, Mouth to Mouth was certainly far from my normal TBR novels! Therefore, it was quite an adjustment, and took me a while to fully get into. For me, the sense of instant submersion I get with a five star read wasn't there, but I would definitely recommend it to fans of eccentric, dark thrillers!
