I read this first impression, and other than the setting, didn't really find much that personally interests me.
A family living on an island settling trying to start some kind of plantation whilst waiting for boats to sail past in the hopes of catching their attention.
And a desperate need for workers in a story I assume is set during the slave plantations of the Caribbean.
But I didn't really read anything in this first impression that made me want to continue reading.
The cover is quite intriguing though.
