I loved the writing style of this book - the first chapter was written in a lovely lilting, sing-song kind of manner that was almost like poetry to read. The following chapter was also involving and made me want to read more of the story.
When I looked at the synopsis of this novel, I wasn't too convinced but I'm glad I made the effort to read the extract.
