If 'Lord of the Flies' is and 'The Miniaturist' had a love child, this would be it. With intrigue, mystery, strife, and a deserted island, this book has everything it takes to be a page turner, while at the same time promising to be a cut above some of the shoddy writing in the genre. I'm in.
