The prose is lyrically put together and sits well on the page. The story bursts forth quickly and you feel instantly right in the thick of the plot. Brief chapters help to move things along and this would be a good book to read "on the go" for this same reason. I like the colourful cover which helps to set the nineteenth century scene.
