I had real trouble getting anywhere with this book it was really a headache to read, especially with the way the author has styled the characters language, I really fail to see how a young adult would manage with this book considering it's supposed to be for young adults. The book was also painfully boring and slow paced, it took six chapters simply saying "tell mother a ship approaches!" It got very annoying I didn't make it past chapter ten I think before I eventually gave up and moved on! I won't make the mistake of reading anything by this author again it's just not for me. And just because a book looks fancy with a nice cover doesn't mean you're getting anything worth reading, what a massive let down, I was so looking forward to this book too! Oh well! Better luck next time.
