First of all, I would give fair warning that this book is not for younger readers. It focuses on sex in graphic detail, and references drug use and everything university has a reputation for. That said, this is actually a really lovely story that has at its heart five confused young girls who are just trying to figure it out as they go along and make the best of it in the process. Its a story of love, friendship and what it is to at last be out there as an independent in the big scary world. As a second year uni student myself, I loved how their daily routine and their pastimes reflected my own, and I thought the author brilliantly captured how scary and confusing it is to be an adult at last. I highly recommend this book, but as I previously stated, only for mature readers.
