Unfortunately, this one fell flat for me. I was expecting some incredibly relatable novel about uni and students and romance, and though this was technically what the book entailed, it didn't grip me and I didn't really relate to it either. As such, I didn't really enjoy it as much as I hoped and I found myself skimming through parts.

At the beginning, we are introduced to entire cast of female characters and I had a hard time keeping them straight because we are literally thrown in at the deep end. Too many characters, and too soon. Once I'd finally wrapped my head around who was who, it got a little better, but the confusing start had thrown me off and I remained slightly apathetic to the remainder of the novel.

What I did like though, was the overall diversity rep in all areas, and I think that should definitely be acknowledged.
