The cover of the book appealed to me as a thriller and crime fiction fan, and boy was I not disappointed! The author's writing style was smooth, it flowed well and it kept me wanting more. The main focus of the book is whether a boy, who was presumed abducted years ago, is seen in the area today by the new wife of the missing boys father. Sounds complicated? Not really, is it him or not?

The plot was gripping with a few twists and turns, I felt both empathy and frustration with the main characters, and I was completely engaged with the story from the start. There is an element of predictability in the book though, which is the only reason I am not giving it 5 stars. I would definitely recommend it; and because it's more of a drama than a thriller, and it is such an easy to read and follow book, I think it would be enjoyable to almost anyone. I can't wait to read another book by this author.
