I really liked the look of the book, it hooked me from the very start and kept me guessing and kept me turning the page. The ending wasn't the one I had hoped for though. It wasn't a bad ending, it was an unpredictable one. But it just wasn't the one I was hoping for. This is no way a reflection on the authors writing which I thought was very good. I was just disheartened by the ending as I had a specific way I wanted the story to go. Was a very good read and I do hope the author writes more books like this as I really do like my mystery thriller type books. I empathized a lot with the characters in the book, as I couldn't imagine going through what they do. It got me thinking what I would do if I was in the situation, which is probably why I was so disheartened by the ending as it not what I would of done. Although I understand why it was done, it wasn't what I had hoped. Still a brilliant read regardless.
