I read this a while back. And honestly this sort of book was my favourite genre back when I read this. So I had my fair share of psychthrils behind my belt.
And yet for some reason I couldn’t connect with this book at all. I’m not sure what it was about it but I didn’t gel with the characters at all. I just couldn’t like or relate with them! The writing style was decent but for me it was the execution of the story that didn’t work for me. I wasn’t pulled in by it, any of it. The storyline was okay but it just wasn’t portrayed realistically enough for me. Even in a work of fiction, a novel, I still like to imagine it’s a real thing occurring. I did finish the whole book as sometimes a book I don’t enjoy will pick up or I’ll understand it better after a certain point but not this one. Overall it was a 2/5 from me. I wish I could have loved it more but for some reason I just didn’t
