Are books supposed to make you feel annoyed?
I didn't really like the ending... Did they give Barne/Mikey back to the abductors?! And what is going on with Tommy, Keith and Jenny?!
I did feel like I had read it before but I couldn't of - that made me feel annoyed again because I felt like I was wasting time reading it, because even though the first couple of chapters gripped me, it then went really flat and I felt like I was just waiting aggggeeeessss for something to happen!
I did like that it had short chapters because if they were longer and I wasn't in lock-down, I don't know if I would've finished it (but the likelihood of that, is I probably would've because I could not finish a book!).
Still again, I was annoyed because it just felt like the search went on forever, and then got to the ending and then it was a shocking ending - like I said above - how can you give the kid back to your abductors?! Don't get it, didn't really like it. And final comment - the husband annoyed me because why wouldn't you want to find your son?! Ahhhhhhhh!
