This character could be me in 10 years
So,
After reading the first chapter I realised how extremely relatable this book is to me for three reasons.
Firstly, the mother Rachel is just like mine. I think it’s funny that she shares the same micromanaging and image-up-keeping characteristics.
Secondly, the fighting, bickering, inside jokes and rivalry between the siblings is something that anyone with a sibling can relate to.
Finally, I love the fact that Claudia doesn’t know if she wants to be married. So many books have marriage as the goal but I like the fact that this explores why she may not want to be married. This is something I think about in my future so I really want to know if and how she decides.
