My Not So Functional Family is a laugh out loud take of love, friendship and family that left me laughing and wanting to cry in equal measure. Now, I’m trying to remember my thoughts after a huge hiatus from book blogging and realising I didn’t review this before I went on a 9 month hiatus but what I do remember is that this book was a wonderful and fun story that stepped away from the usual steamy romance novel, Star Wars novels or witty fantasy story I’m used to reading.
My Not So Functional Family opened up the world of contemporary modern fiction and women’s literary fiction to me where I would usually bypass those kinds of books. I will certainly be looking out for more from this author.
