Initially I was really looking forward to reading this story as it sparked my interested from the extract.
In the first few chapters the relationship between Claudia and her siblings is given some insight along with her relationship with her mum. I did find it was quite a slow build up story wise as there was a lot of focus on family tensions between each character. It isn’t until quite a few chapters in that we actually meet Claudia’s fiancé.
I feel that with some perseverance it is definitely a worthwhile read but I personally prefer a more in depth story with a good lead up. I felt very anti-climactic and that it was quite a repetitive story in many parts.
