I was really looking forward to this book, as both the blurb and first look appeared promising.
However, I was really disappointed with the book. It felt flat the way it was written and in parts veered off the main topic and felt myself switching off. I put the book down halfway through and wasn't bothered if I carried on reading or not but I persevered.
The characters were each written well and show the different personalities a family can have. Aunt Mary made me laugh and at times annoyed me.
The ending of the book summed it all up, disappointing. The book is about Claudia's wedding and at the end I felt could have been written and portrayed better as it felt a little rushed, unanswered and flat.
