I was looking forward to reading My Not So Functional Family as it sounded like a fun Summer read but I was quite disappointed. The story follows Claudia who returns to her family home before her wedding but she starts questioning the choices she has made. I found that I didn't really like or care for any of the characters in the book which made the story drag on and I found that at times they were a bit over the top in their actions. The story seemed to be all over the place and I didn't find that the ending even gave a particularly good ending. I didn't enjoy this book at all and wish I hadn't kept reading in hopes of it getting better. The characters are what I feel let this story down as I found they left me uninterested in the story from the start.
