I became hooked to the story immediately. I really liked all the characters, and although it kept switching point of views, I didn't mind because their stories were so interesting. It felt like I was peering into a dysfunctional family's life. What I really liked about the book was that the characters and their stories felt very real. It was really interesting seeing how different they all were, but that each of them was going through their own troubles. And I also loved that each character had their own individual voice. There were even laugh out loud moments! However, the one thing I didn't like was how sometimes, the characters' dialogues were unrealistic. It didn't happen often, but when it did, it would jolt me out of the story.
