I received my not so functional family from readers review in exchange for an honest review.

As I was reading through initial first impression chapters I was feeling like this is a book that I can continue to read since it made me laugh although as I progressed to 100 pages I found the storyline to become all over the place.
I understand Claudia as a character and how she felt the way she did, in fact she was my favourite character. Jabour definitely has skills to write family dynamics that seem relatable to an extent but I found the constant bickering, hatred to be a common theme which could have developed into something different rather than Claudia constantly hating her family.

Unfortunately I skim read after 100 pages and would not recommend to anyone.
