I was quite excited about this book, the title and front cover look fun and lighthearted. I liked the premise of the story and was interested to know more. Will she go through with it or not? It didn’t take long to read and although it wasn’t terrible it also wasn’t much to shout about.
I was expecting a nice mixture of quirky characters, humour and drama but I was all just..... ok!
I just didn’t really care that much about the characters or their lives. The writing was ok, the story was ok and the characters were ok! It was a nice pallet cleanser from my usual reading material but there are better chick lit books out there, and ones I have enjoyed far more! I would say it’s worth giving it a go but maybe go into it with lower expectations that I had!
