I was so excited to receive this to read as I’d loved the first impressions.
But this was just a mess, I persevered to the end convinced it could only get better but unfortunately it didn’t!
The characters had zero depth and meant you actually didn’t care about any of them. The mum and aunt were absolutely atrocious to the point where I was just getting angry, not finding them funny at all.
I finished the book just thinking ‘was that it?’ It didn’t really culminate to anything!
Looking back on it there really didn’t seem to be a point as the wedding part was completely washed over and just swept under the carpet. There was just no substance or anything.
I hate having to write bad reviews but I just cannot think of anything positive. Would not recommend at all unfortunately.
