I am not too keen on this book. It was dull at the start but I persevered through it as I don't like giving up! It is about a dysfunctional family and one is them is having second thoughts about getting married. I expected it to be a light-hearted, amusing, funny book, ideal for holiday reading. But I found it to be quite dull - there was no real story, no drama, no tension, no will s/he won't s/he, no wondering what will happen next... It seems a very serious book, an in-depth look at these characters, explaining all about them. I got to the end, but didn't really care whether the character got married or not. It could maybe have been more interesting taking the story forward from the point that she made her decision and the reactions of her family.
