I was really looking forward to reading this, as it sounded an interesting and enjoyable book with a great central idea of the family reunion and wedding. Unfortunately, it didn't really live up to expectations. I understand that it was trying to be a bit edgier and with a more sarcastic streak than the traditional family drama/rom com, but it didn't quite work. I found the characters really difficult to relate to and the constant bickering got on my nerves. Perhaps because the perspectives of different chapters changed from one character to the other, we didn't really get to understand and/or empathise with any of them. Also, there wasn't really a conclusion so not really sure what 'happened' ...
