This was a fun, easy to read book but not as good as the authors it's compared to. Not a lot happened; it's more about the relationships of the characters involved. The characters weren't particularly likeable but I enjoyed reading about the fractious relationships and family dynamics, and the many flaws of the characters! I think it got better the more I read - one of those books that you enjoy more when read in big chunks. I was a bit disappointed with the ending. I'd enjoyed the restaurant scene but was surprised how abruptly the book ended.
The cover and book title suit the book well. Bright, light-hearted and fun. I don't think it's a book I'll hang on to though, or recommend to others.
