This book had huge promise, I was looking forward to reading it. The book is generally well written and pacey, I did read it quite quickly and the characters were reasonably well developed. Having married myself and encountered what can only be described at times as familial Armageddon I did relate to Claudia’s plight at times. Growing up with 3 siblings and divorced parents tensions Claudia arrives home the week before her wedding and tries to live alongside her adult siblings. As adult children regress to the family home they also regress back to their childhood disputes and tensions. The plot is limited to family dispute and I did feel the story and characters could have been further develop.

The ending was really not good however, leaving the reader hanging abruptly with no real conclusion and everyone in a mess. Perhaps that the point, we as humans have messy relationships and life ends as abruptly as it starts.
