The sneak peak of this novel was ok. Nothing spectacular happened and nothing that made me really want to read on,
However, I do think the novel has more to give and the story would get more exciting as it went on.
The writing is typical of that of a rom-com summer read. Easy and not too taxing on the brain. But in my opinion there needs to be more to the plot to grip the readers attention early on.
The characters are quite mundane and not much of their personality is shown, definitely not enough to connect me as a reader and invest in the lives of these characters.
In my opinion this is a so-so take with prospects to liven up if the author revs up the action and plots twists a notch or two.
