I normally read a lot of crime fiction but every now and then I give myself a few too many nightmares and crave a lighter easy read. This was exactly that and is perfect for fans of Sophie
Kinsella.
This is Bridie Jabour’s first novel and I have to say she has won me over. One thing I noticed was how articulate she was and really enjoyed her style of writing!
The book is about Claudia who is having second thoughts about her upcoming wedding. It sees her family all come together and all the typical family dramas begin! I thought the characters were developed really well and by the end of it i felt like I was one of the siblings.
This is not the book for you if you want twists and turns and unpredicatabiltiy. However if you want a nice light read then this is perfect.
