Normally we just see the world in black and white, right? The murderer kills the victim, therefore we have our villain. We just assume the murderer is out for blood, but we don't think to find out the rest of the story. It takes books like this to remind us that instead of black and white, the world is actually is shades of gray, and it is better to find the full story before making assumptions. Seeing the world with the perspective of someone close to the murderer, in this case her sister, helped me to understand what goes on the murderer's head, blurring the shades even more. The cover gave me a curious feeling about the book, even before I read it. I would definitely like to continue reading!
