A damn good story - told in a unique way!
This was a clever story which I found disappointingly short.
I picked up this book due to it's provocative title and eye-catching cover art and was pleased to find the book is quick-witted, sharp and easily engaging.
I was impressed that I found the characters to be so remarkably in-depth for how quickly the story develops. However, I would be lying if I said I didn’t wish that there was also a long-read version of this book as it’s such an intriguing concept.
I think this book would make a great Christmas present as its style is unique enough to appeal to a diverse audience. Having read this, I would certainly recommend and would keep an eye out for other books from Oyinkan Braithwaite in the future.
