I demolished this book in only two days. It has really short punchy chapters which I loved! It makes it easy to read, and you’ve always got that ‘oh go on then, one more chapter’ vibe with it. The story begins with the third murder and you don’t really get the details on the first two. At first, this annoyed me as I wanted to know more, but as I read on, I realised I didn’t need it. If anything, it would have taken away from the story. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

There are plenty of flashbacks to Korede and Ayoola’s childhood with their father that I feel brought a lot more to the story. It made you realise things you may not have noticed before, and made things make more sense. It completed that family background I needed to know.⁣⁣⁣⁣

I honestly really loved Korede, yes she may have helped hide serious crimes, but she did it out of love for her family. She is so much more of a beautiful person that she perceives herself to be. Constantly comparing herself to her gorgeous sister, never realising that it’s what inside that counts most, and that’s where she shines more. ⁣⁣⁣⁣

I could say so much more (don’t get me started on Ayoola), but I don’t like to write reviews with spoilers so I’m going to have to leave it at that. But I can honestly say I adored this. At first I have it 4 stars, but the more I thought about it, I just had to give it that extra star! ⁣⁣⁣⁣
