I enjoyed this book. It was very different from what I would normally choose to pick up but I flew through it. It took me less than a day to read from start to finish as each time I finished a chapter I found myself wanting to read another one. The storyline was dark and addictive.
Perhaps my only complaint is that in being so short I found that it maybe lacked a little in the way of character building so that I could really connect to the characters and the story. It was very fast paced which was good but it could have afforded to just delve in a little bit more so that I felt more emotionally connected to the characters.
I look forward to reading other novels from this author in the future.
