This novel was such a fun read, I am pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Due to the title, I was a little apprehensive as I was expecting a much more detailed murders and violence. The plot, however is much more focused on Korede and how she plans to stop her sister from committing another murder!
Korede is a humour and interesting character, Ayoola as the younger much more spoiled character is also portrayed perfectly. I adored their interactions and arguments.
As this novel is set in Lagos, the culture is effortlessly interwoven throughout the story, I found it a fascinating and educational take on life in Nigeria.
Unfortunately I wasn't fully satisfied with the ending, I must admit, I felt as though it was rushed. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a fun contemporary novel with a slight difference.
