I thought this was such a good concept for a book, it was 100mph from the very beginning and I really couldn’t believe what I was reading!! It was a supremely well written book, and the relationship between the sisters was so well written and so strong that I could really resonate with as an older sister!
It was also amazing to read a story set in Lagos, and the way that corruption and the law enforcement was written felt vivid and I loved reading about a way of life that isn’t one I’m used to living - even the description of the housing, work places and social lives of the characters felt so interesting and a well needed difference to my usual lives!
The only bad thing about this was that the ending felt really rushed and really quick when the entire story had been set up so well- it would have felt so much bette to have 100 more pages to finish off the book properly!
