A few pages in and i convinced myself, that i would be able to pull off a crime scene cover up just like the main character. We are plonked smacked bang in the centre of the story. No build up or scene setting necessary!
This kind of opener had me hooked from the start.
I like how it goes from murder scene to day job to family life. I enjoyed every character in this book. It is so well written.
The relationships she has with her family and colleagues give this book such a real life relatable feel.
Nothing is drawn out or overemphasised. You don't get bored, or tempted to speed read through any sections.
The main character has doubt and annoyance towards her sister, yet she never wavers in supporting her. That is until her Sister directs her attention towards the man she is secretly in love with and pining for. I would advise putting this on your to read list!
