I loved this book, I just wish it was longer...
Korede is nurse and her sister is a clothes designer who seems to get everything her own way. The younger sibling is the more beautiful of the two, who can have her pick of men, and does...although they all seem to have a strange habit of dying. Their death is usually followed by a phone call from Ayoola to Korede asking for help to clear up the mess she has made.
When Ayoola shows interest in a doctor at the hospital were Korede works, Korede is forced to choose between remaining loyal to her sister, or potentially saving the doctor's life (a doctor that Korede quite likes herself).
I warmed to Korede quite quickly; she is an incredibly loyal sister who, it seems, will do anything to protect her younger sister Ayoola.
