Korede receives a late night call from her sister Ayoola saying "Korede I killed him". He was her boyfriend Femi. This is the third time Korede has helped with this problem but you have to help your sister even defending her from their late bullying father. Ayoola, the beautiful younger sister is soon on the prowl for another boyfriend, and while visiting Korede, a nurse,at the hospital she works at, she meets Tade, the doctor Korede has fallen in love with. Tade falls under Ayoola's spell and Korede fears for his life. In the meantime the police are interviewing the sisters about Femi. Korede has no-one to talk to as she finds it hard to live with the situation but as she sits with Muhtar , a patient who is in a coma, she tells him everything about her sister, the serial killer, and her own part in helping to cover up the crimes. When he awakens she learns that little by little he remembers their conversations.
Based In Lagos this dark novel was gripping with great characters and dialogue. The chapter were short which created a great atmosphere. I loved this book.
