When I started reading this one I had such high hopes as I had heard so much about it and everything was praising the story and the author.
The concept for the book was wonderful, I loved the fact that the sister were close enough to cover for each other but the story line in terms of the actual murder was a little flat. I expected a bit more drama that just never really came.
The tension that was built around the police investigation and the car was brilliant, it had me on edge and wanting to know more. I was invested in that situation but sadly what came before didn’t quite the hit spot.
The characters were also a bit lacking in terms of personality and likability. I didn’t make any sort of connection with any of them which possibly detracted from the over all enjoyment of the book.
I would recommend to a friend though as I definitely think it’s one most people would enjoy.
