I read this book in one sitting, a short easy read.
I found all the characters likeable, even the serial killer sister. I found myself relating to her even when you know she is cold blooded and a murderer. Hearing her backstory mixed in with her current life helps you understand how she has turned out the way she did.
I felt for the sister who is torn between doing what is right for the victims and what is right for her family. Would we ourselves give our family up to the police or would we be by their side unconditionally?
I was a bit disappointed with how much of the book is based on romance. I felt there could have been more exploration into the characters mindset.
Another problem I had was the use of Nigerian language, which whilst a nice touch and helped the book to feel authentic, was confusing for someone who didn't understand any of it. It would have been nice to have a translation. Although saying that, the message got across just fine.
