I found this book through a TikTok video on "booktok", it didnt grasp me at first looking at the cover but after reading some of the comments I was encouraged to read it. This type of book is a new genre to me as I am just now beginning my reading journey. The surprisingly witty writing along with connotations of family and thankfulness, had me hooked from the start of the book and made it quite a quick and short read. Some part were easily predictable along the way which ruined it slightly but overall still has a very good storyline and interesting concept. The writing was clear in terms of personality difference between each character which made it easier to read in my opinion. I dont want to include spoilers in this review, so I will conclude by saying that the ending wasnt worth it in my opinoion, although it was short the ending wasnt wrapped up in the way i would've liked. I give this a 3 stars in total.
