Highly recommend this to readers. A really fantastic debut from an author that we are going to hear a lot more in years to come. Razor sharp wit and a cracking tale of sisterly love and loyalty. There are some really amusing parts of this book that will make you smile. The story is about 2 sisters (Korede and Ayoola) – one of whom (Ayoola) is prone to doing away with her boyfriends. Korede is called every time to clean up the mess and dispose of the body. Now, this may sound like a really daft storyline but it is really amazing. It is a short book with a lot of one page chapters so you will fly through it – actually it is a hard book to put down because there is so much going on. The story weaves through the sister’s childhood with an abusive father. Cannot recommend this book highly enough. Nigeria has a new literary star!
