I actually listened to this book on audio and I absolutely loved it.
The book was very fast paced with short chapters which meant that every time I thought ‘just one more chapter’.
The book is well written and I really felt drawn to the characters, however I did feel like with the book being so short I didn’t get to know each of the characters as much as I would have liked to.
I loved the subtle, dark humour. Although the book was about very deep, serious topics, the humour in the book made it much lighter than I had expected going into it.
This books explores the relationship between two sisters and the lengths one would go to to protect the other.
I was surprised that this was a debut novel for the author and I will definitely look out for any more of her work in the future.
This was easily a five star book for me, and I would definitely highly recommend it.
