I really enjoyed this and the short chapters meant I could whizz through it in a matter of hours while soaking up some sunshine.
The relationship between Ayoola and Korede was so complex and I enjoyed that the novel focused on that rather than the crimes the sisters were committing. Both sisters had aspects to their character that were frustrating and that meant I was conflicted between what I wanted the outcome of the book to be - justice or escape? It also raised a question with in me of how far would I go for my own sister? Don't get me wrong, I love her and would always want to help her out with any problem she was stuck with, but could I let her walk free knowing she had done something as heinous as murder?
Overall I enjoyed the book. I did wish it was a bit longer so we could have got to know the characters a bit better. The ending was actually enjoyable for me - I like the not knowing! Makes it more interesting!
