My Sister the Serial Killer is a short and sweet thriller about two sisters, one of whom cannot stop murdering her boyfriends! Unfortunately, the other sister and main character Korede is always dragged into the aftermath. The tension escalates until Korede's sister becomes interested in Korede's coworker and crush!
I listened to the audiobook and it was such a good experience. The book is a thriller, but also a satire, so getting to hear the inflection of Korede's voice contributed a lot to the experience of reading the story. Her exasperated toned also added a bit of humor to this dark book.
I also think that the length was perfect––book's don't need to be 500 pages to be good! It was fast paced and I was able to listen to the whole book on two plane flights! I really enjoyed this books and it was a nice break from reading super long books!
