Easily one of my favourite books from 2019. So fast paced, so punchy and so so easy to read. The story is one that just grabs you and pulls you in and you find yourself reading chapter after chapter in one go; they’re only a couple of pages long each. I loved the juxtaposition of the fact the protagonist is a nurse yet she is covering up her sister’s murders and letting her get away with it - it adds a whole other level to the story. The only thing I didn’t like about this book is how short it is, Braithwaite could easily have written another 30 chapters that would’ve filled me with even more joy! I love the relationship between the two sisters; even though one is a serial killer, she is still very much loved.
