I really loved this book. The fast pace and short chapters made it really easy to read, it was one of the first books I got through after not reading for a few years and I devoured it in a couple of days. I loved the setting, I really enjoy books set in countries I know less about, and Braithwaite writes in a way that makes you feel as though you are in the setting watching the action unfold in front of you.
I loved the relationship between the sisters, it really gets you thinking about how far you'd go for the ones you love. I thought the main character's struggle between helping her sister and the man she is in love with. This book is darkly comedic at times, but explores the bond between sisters very well. I also adore the front cover, the colours really make it stand out and the illustration is brilliant. It's definitely a book I'd re-read, and one that I have recommended on more than one occasion.
